What first got you into music?

I’ve honestly been surrounded by music all my life. When I was an infant, I was carried around a college choir that my parents sang in at the time, even being held by the director as he yelled at the ensemble. Some of my earliest memories are singing in that choir, and doodling on the chalk boards in that room, and I even ended up going to that college for music as well.

When did you start playing music?

I’ve been singing almost as long as I could talk, and started playing the trumpet in the sixth grade. Since then, I’ve continually added many instruments to my arsenal, most recently the bass guitar. You can routinely find me gigging around South Carolina on Trumpet, Bass, or Voice.
